MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017. Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment as both his mother & older brother are professional musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He began playing guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was an infant. In spite of initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his career.
