Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress, best known for her performances in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! She began her career in the late 1980s, and rose into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film where she starred with the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. She next appeared in the film Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Early on, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. When she was in her early years when she started to act as a child actress, most films that she made weren't successful. Eventually she became one the top actresses from Indian films. She took a break from her career after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. In recent times, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. In addition, she is known for her charitable works.
